Your hotel is situated at one of the most beautiful parks of Amsterdam. In the second half of the nineteenth century Amsterdam was expanded  with a large area. In this new area there was also place for a park.
Doctor Samuel Sarphati was the initiator to realize this park. In 1885 the realization of the park was  started , and in 1888 it was finished.
Sarphatipark is a variable and picturesque park with small bridges, fountains and a cascade.
The statue of Samuel Sarphati is in the middle of the park.
